It is composed by a quarter of coat, containing, in the first quarter on red background, a historic piece formed by a central motive, oval shaped and golden elongated bullets; in the second quarter, on a azure background, there is an open gate, with seven windows and two towers, with tapered, truncated roof, all from silver; in the third quarter, also an azure background, there is a golden scale, with its dishes in balance.
In the last quarter, on red background, there are three curly belts from silver.
The signification of the elements
– the metallic piece from the first quarter is known as ” Fibula from Suseni”, an invaluable archeological spring, belonging to the beginning of Iron Age. It reflects the level of material and spiritual culture of the inhabitants, Geto- Dacs, on the whole.
– The construction invokes the important foundations of the place and also the specific fortification system of the Feudal Age.
– The scale, heraldic sign, invokes the social justice, demonstrate the balance and temperance of the inhabitants, remembering in the same time the role of commercial activities in social progress.
– The silver belts represents the rich hydrographic system of the county and represents Mures, Tarnava Mica and Niraj rivers.
